Citra-Prep CP250 uses a combination of natural chemistry and advanced surfactants to break down contaminants. Its mechanism relies on three core actions:
Natural Citrus Solvency: The primary active components are natural citrus solvents (derived from renewable resources like orange peels).
Proprietary Surfactant Action: To bridge the gap between oil and water, CP250 contains a specialised surfactant blend. This separates the oils/greases from the water.
"Quick Break" Technology: This is a crucial feature for industrial compliance. Once the greasy wastewater is washed into a holding pit, separator, or drainage system, the emulsion quickly breaks apart.
The oil rapidly separates from the water and floats to the top, allowing wastewater treatment facilities to easily skim and recover the oils while safely disposing of the clean water.
